Studying the Fashion Industry in Second Life Big Time

The fashion industry in Second Life is a big thing. Last week, I've visited Canimal's fashion store and observed quite interesting and unexpected interactions of Canimal's fashion savvies. Conducting academic research in Second Life is a big thing too.

As a member of the Second Life's Academic Research Special Interest Group (SIG), it's my pleasure to assist my SIG collage Dr. Jeffrey Bardzell, an assistant Professor at Human-Computer Interaction Design at the School of Informatics at Indiana University. Dr. Bardzell formed a research group that study Second Life fashion. Specifically, studying the relationships it forges between identity and technology.
Now they put together a survey to try and get a better sense of the Second Life fashion industry as a whole. If you would take this survey, and perhaps even circulate it amongst your fashion-savvy SL friends, Jeffrey would be grateful!
Here is the URL:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=eZ938dlZvLtStvfLL3tVUg_3d_3d

The survey should take no more than 20 minutes (probably less in most cases), is anonymous, and its data will be made available to the public—all this and more is spelled out in the consent form at that URL. Only few days Left before closing time!

Thanks in advance for your consideration and support!
