Wheelies74 First Disability-themed Virtual Nightclub Opening in Second Life

Last week I was invited by Simon Stevens to the opening of Wheelies74, the first disability-themed virtual nightclub in Second Life.
Wheelies74 will open its doors today! December 3rd, 2009.

Experts from facebook opening event invite:
"Featured are an expanded campus in the Second Life® virtual world including, dance venue, walking green, activities centre, and "Bond of Unity" art work. December 3rd has been designated by the United Nations as, International Day of Persons with Disabilities. 
The UN's purpose is to empower individuals and their communities around the world.
Highlights:
Wheelies74 reopens with new sponsorship its initiative that won the 2008 UK Catalyst Revolutionary Award, presented by UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
Dec. 3rd date honors United Nations day designated to empower people and their communities worldwide.
Event features music and participants from UK, US, Europe".
